Free Level Assessment
Service Description
At DVS, we offer free level assessments to place all students, new and current in the right classes based on their skills: New Students with Dance Experience: A free assessment is required to join Salsa 3 and above, and highly encouraged for starting at Salsa 2 to ensure proper placement. Current Students: Assessments are mandatory to advance to the next level, ensuring readiness and skill mastery. Salsa 1: No assessment is needed for this beginner level. These assessments help every student succeed while maintaining the quality and progression of our program.
24 hour notice for all cancellations
Class Booking Cancellation Policy Class bookings and booking cancellations can be done directly through the dancevancouver.ca website (My account > My Bookings) as well as on the DVS (Fit by Wix) App no later than 6 hours prior to the start of the class. Cancellations can also be done over the phone through the front desk. If a student is unable to attend a class, they must cancel their booking before the class starts. If they fail to cancel and do not attend, they will be marked as a no-show. The class will be deducted from their subscription, and no refund or credit will be issued. The class booking and cancellation guidelines are in place to better help us provide the best experience by helping balance ratios of leads and follows and allow potential waitlisted persons the opportunity to join a fully booked class.
