DVS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Kids Classes (2026 Program)

Program Duration: 12 weeks | 1 class per week

Welcome to our kids’ dance program! We’re excited to have your child join us and aim to provide a fun, safe, and respectful environment where everyone can learn and grow.

1. Registration & Joining Late

Late registrations are welcome up to 4 weeks after the program starts.
If a student is late to a class, they are welcome to join. We kindly ask that they enter quietly and respectfully so the class can continue smoothly for everyone. Parents are encouraged to help minimize disruptions.
Check-in at the front desk is required for every class before entering the studio. Please plan to arrive a few minutes early.
Every child must have a profile in our system linked to an email for booking and check-in. Once registered, students are automatically booked for all 12 weeks.

2. Fees & Discounts

Annual registration fee: $40, payable at the front desk on the first class. Waived for April sign-ups (founding members) for the Spring Session 2026.
Students signing up for more than one class a week receive a discount on the second class.
Partner school (ESS) discount: $20 off with proof of enrollment.

All kids' class fees are tax-exempt.
Payments can be made online or by cash or card at the front desk. Some card types or payment methods (e.g., tap, Apple Pay) may have processing fees.
Discounts and prorated rates cannot be applied online; they are available only in person at the front desk.

3. Payment & Credit Policy

The program is a one-time payment for the full 12-week session.
Payments are non-refundable, except in exceptional circumstances at the studio’s discretion.
Credits or refunds may be considered for serious illness or injury, with medical proof provided. Personal holidays or non-medical absences are not eligible.
Credits expire 6 months after issuance and are non-transferable.
If a class is canceled due to emergencies, weather or other unforeseen circumstances, we will make reasonable efforts to provide a make-up class. If a make-up is not possible, a credit may be issued at the studio’s discretion.

4. Parent/Guardian Supervision Policy

A parent or legal guardian must remain on-site for the entire duration of the class for all children under 13.
For participants aged 13–17, parents may choose whether or not to stay; however, Dance Vancouver Studio, its staff, instructors, and volunteers are not responsible for supervising any participant outside of scheduled class time, including breaks, restroom visits, or any other moment on the premises.
Parents are fully responsible for their child’s safety and supervision at all times, regardless of age. Dance Vancouver Studio is not liable for incidents related to unsupervised participation.

5. Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and use personal information (name, email, phone, billing) only to process registrations, payments, and studio communications.
Payment processing is handled securely via Wix.
You may request access or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at dancevancouverinfo@gmail.com

6. Lost Property

While we do our best to keep belongings safe, Dance Vancouver is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items.
Found items are kept in the Lost & Found for 30 days; unclaimed items are donated.
Secured lockers with keys are available during class hours—please ask at the front desk.

7. Harassment & Bullying Policy

Dance Vancouver is committed to a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment.
Harassment of any kind (verbal, physical, online, or discriminatory) is not tolerated.
Students, parents, and staff are encouraged to report any concerns to the studio director or staff. Reports will be handled promptly and confidentially.
Disciplinary action may be taken when necessary, and retaliation against anyone reporting in good faith is strictly prohibited.
