HIP HOP
Richard O’Sullivan discovered his passion for dance at a young age, though his early years were all about football. He began playing at age five and continued through high school. While he loved to dance, he didn’t initially see it as a career path.

That changed in 1994 during a trip to Los Angeles, where he immersed himself in the city’s vibrant dance scene. Inspired and energized, he made the leap—and never looked back.

Since then, Richard has built an international career as a dancer, choreographer, and instructor. He has performed, taught, and choreographed all around the world — including Tokyo, Amsterdam, Slovenia, Germany, and across North America. Known for his smooth, intricate, and cutting-edge style, he has earned a reputation as one of Canada’s most respected dance professionals.

Richard’s performance credits span film, television, commercials, and live stage shows. He has worked with major artists such as Janet Jackson, Harry Connick Jr., SWV, MC Hammer, and Snoop Dogg, among many others.
