Negar Saberi was born and raised in North Vancouver and brings a rich cultural background to her movement. With Iranian roots, she began dancing at a young age through traditional folk styles before expanding her training to include modern, hip hop, and contemporary dance.

​

Outside the studio, Negar is a school teacher, and education plays a central role in her life. Her passion for teaching strongly influences her approach to dance instruction, creating a supportive and engaging learning environment for her students.

​

At DVS, Negar teaches Bachata and loves blending traditional foundations with modern and fusion elements to create dynamic and expressive classes.

​

Fun facts about Negar: she has competed in bodybuilding competitions, previously worked as a lifeguard and swimming instructor, and enjoys playing the piano.
