Belly Dance




Dance has been an intrinsic part of Carla's life from a young age. Carla fell in love with Bellydance and began traveling frequently to Egypt. In 2016 she moved to the land of Belly dance to work and be immersed into the culture. During her time in Egypt, Carla studied with many master teachers and traveled extensively throughout the country. Connecting with Egyptian locals, she explored the real identity of the different peoples of Egypt and gained a better connection with the essence of the people and the dance. Carla's artistic vision has been shaped by her research both near and abroad and her extensive dance background.

Belly Dance 1

This class is for absolute beginners.

Students will learn fundamental moves, isolations, and proper dance posture.

Belly dance is characterized by intricate hip work, fluid serpentine movements, torso isolations, and sharp accents. It is a low-impact whole-body exercise and a fun, uplifting, and empowering dance.
