Founded in 2006 by Patrick Moriarity, Dance Vancouver serves all levels of Salsa dancers, from the absolute beginner to the seasoned professional. Recognized as a world class Salsa school, all of us at Dance Vancouver are committed to producing humble, educated and capable social dancers and performers.

Our team of instructors are all capable, caring and experienced professionals able to cater your learning needs. Everyone of our instructors are calibrated on their teaching techniques, course curriculums and dancing abilities. This ensures that all of our students receive the same high-quality instruction and care regardless of which member(s) of our team are assisting you.

Patrick Moriarity
Founder / Director / Head Instructor

Raised in Vancouver, Patrick got into Salsa 10 years ago as a means to tackle a life long fear of dancing. Finding the social aspect of the dance appealing, Salsa quickly grew on him and ignited his desire to know and further perfect his craft - not only in Salsa but also other Latin dances such as Cha-Cha, Merengue and Bachata.

Senior Instructor

Scarlet's experience, travel and accolades far exceed her youthful age. Before being introduced to Latin dances by her parents at the age of 15 Scarlet already had experience in dances such as Modern, Mexican Folklore, Jazz, Tap and more significantly Cheer, a team in which she Captained and competed with at a National level.

Instructor

Tanguy's natural passion for dance comes from his Haitian roots where music and dance is central to the culture. Growing up dancing organically to the Caribbean rhythms of his homeland made his transition into Salsa which began in Montreal in 2005, a natural extension.
